Want to grow homegrown talent in our region? High schools matter.

Residents throughout our region understand that, voting dollars to reinvent our high schools for the 21st century.

Sauk Rapids-Rice residents stepped up first, voting to build a new high school that opened in 2003.

Last year, residents in the Avon-Albany school district, where I live, voted to do a major remodel of the high school, championed by the business community.

Sartell residents voted in May to build a new high school.
